Privacy policy
We take the transparent handling of personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit www.fotowerker.ch, for what purpose and to whom we pass it on. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.

Visiting the website
When you open the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, browser, operating system and referrer URL. This is needed to run and secure the website. The data is stored only as long as required for that purpose and is not combined with other data sources.
No cookies, no advertising trackers
Visitors do not receive any cookies from this website. There are no advertising or marketing trackers and no embedded third-party content. That is why no cookie banner is needed. Fonts are hosted locally, so there is no connection to font providers.
Audience measurement without cookies
To see how often pages are viewed, we count page views, the approximate origin of a visit (for example a search engine), the device type and clicks on email and contact links. No cookies are set and nothing is stored in your browser. The IP address is only briefly processed into a daily changing code that cannot be traced back, in order to combine repeated views on the same day, and it is not stored. No user profiles are created.
Contact form and email
If you use the form or write us an email, we process the details you provide: name, email address, phone number (optional), subject, chosen service, message, how you heard about us (optional) and the language of the page. We use them to answer your enquiry and to prepare an offer. The basis is your consent and the preparation of a contract. Enquiries are deleted once they are completed, at the latest 12 months after receipt, unless a legal retention duty applies.
The form forwards your message to us by email and also stores it in a protected administration area that only Fotowerker uses.
Service providers
We use service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Vercel Inc. for hosting the website (servers in Frankfurt am Main)
- Resend for sending the form emails
- Upstash for the database of the administration area (enquiries, statistics)
- Hostpoint AG (Switzerland) for our email address
Disclosure abroad
Some service providers are located abroad, for example in the USA. Where the level of data protection does not correspond to that of Switzerland, we ensure protection through contractual safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses. Images that you give us for an order are edited by our own production team in Indonesia.
Data security
The website can only be reached over an encrypted connection (TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and access.
Your rights
You can request information about the data we hold about you at any time, and you can request correction, deletion, restriction of processing, release or transfer of your data. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. Please write to info@fotowerker.ch and include proof of identity with a request for information. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Changes
